           x         - Input x value array. Should be double precision.
           parameter - Parameter to compute model. Must contain 2
                       values.

           tan:P   - Period of tangent. Must not be zero.
           tan:phi - Phase of tangent.

           y = tan(2*pi* (X / P + phi))
